1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern all orders, deliveries and services provided by Avantir Gas (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order or using our website, you (“the Customer”) agree to these terms.
2. Orders and Confirmation
2.1 Orders can be placed by phone, email or the enquiry form on our website.
2.2 An order is only confirmed once we have confirmed availability, pricing and delivery arrangements with you.
2.3 We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders at our discretion, including where stock is unavailable.
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 Prices are confirmed at the time of your order and may change without notice.
3.2 Payment terms and accepted payment methods will be confirmed when you place your order.
4. Delivery
4.1 We deliver to homes and businesses in Durbanville, Brackenfell and Kraaifontein. Delivery to other areas is subject to confirmation.
4.2 Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by stock, traffic, weather and other factors beyond our control.
4.3 The Customer must provide an accurate delivery address and safe access for delivery.
5. Gas Cylinder Safety and Use
5.1 The Customer is responsible for ensuring the selected cylinder size is suitable for their appliance.
5.2 Gas cylinders must be stored, connected and used in line with the manufacturer's instructions and applicable safety regulations. Installations should be done by a qualified person where required.
5.3 If you suspect a gas leak, turn off the cylinder valve, avoid open flames and electrical switches, ventilate the area and contact a qualified professional.
6. Loyalty Card
6.1 Our loyalty card gives you 100% off your 10th order.
6.2 Contact us to confirm how stamps are collected and redeemed, and whether any conditions apply. We may change or end the loyalty programme with reasonable notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage caused by incorrect installation, storage or use of gas cylinders or appliances.
7.2 Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
8. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay in supplying or delivering orders due to events beyond our reasonable control, including supply shortages, extreme weather, road closures, government restrictions and natural disasters.
9. Privacy
Personal information collected for orders is used to process and deliver your order and is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
